Just arrived back in NJ after two weeks on Bear Island. Our first nite there at one in the morning we had a medical emergency and needed help. Having no clue on how this is handled on the islands we found to our surprise that the system is well in place. We first had the police boat and then the fireboat came out from Y Landing with the emts aboard. Well handled and trained people helped to make this much easier. We road in the fireboat to y and into an ambulance that took us to LGH . Happy to say all is well now and if you are on an island you are in good hands. Thanks to all for your help
