Sorry to alarm anyone. Iinitially I thought New England (particularly NH) was one of the recent locations this was being done, ...it appears I may have been in error.
Reintroduction of Wolves has been done in other locales but NH does not appear to be one of them. I DID hear something about this recently..but I can't remember where.
