I've recently acquired an Alden Ocean Rowing Shell and need some info. Hoping some folks here might be able to help.... does anyone have photos of - or can describe - how the slide seat rig attaches to the hull? I have both but seem to be missing some parts to a get secure fit...have not had much luck with the alden website or phone number.
Thanks! |

Heath's Hdwe in Center Harbor has self sealing aluminum washers, which are aluminum washers in different sizes that have a soft rubber washer-style liner, which work to attach items to the hull of a small boat by drilling a hole through the hull, attaching a scew fastener, without making a water leak. They actually work very good......and can be used as a last resort....if nothing else works......since most boaters do not like to drill holes through the boat hull.
Price: about 25-cents/each ....for a size 8, or size 10-screw.
