A friend of mine is on a women's softball team. Each year they go away for a few days with spouses and children. This year Winnipesaukee came up as a possibility so she reached out to me to see if I had ideas of places that might be able to accommodate a group of 15 adults and 15 children in the Winnipesaukee area on Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) my house isn't big enough
![]() The lodging doesn't have to be fancy but it would be great if it was near the water. They like to spend the majority of the time swimming and waterskiing/tubing and are also interested in boat rentals. They would ideally like to fit in one place but they realize that is a tall order. They are willing to split into groups as long as they are close together. Mostly they like to share meals together and do water sports. Does anything come to mind outside of the normal motel rental? Appreciate your help! |

Try Oliver Lodge in Meredith. Website is:www.oliverlodge.com. Website says they are under new management. Although I've never been there, the pictures on the website look like something that might be of interest to you.

The Oliver Lodge is a great place for families or large groups.

The Blinn Family run a very nice place. Harry and Elaine are great people. One of the best views anywhere around the lake.

We looked at Oliver Lodge when my youngest was getting married a couple of years ago. I remember thinking that it would be great for a family reunion. It was too small for the number coming to the wedding but would lovely for your group I would thinik.

You might try Geneva Point Center on Moultonboro Neck: http://www.genevapoint.org
They sound like just what you're looking for. Some friends of ours have done reunions there with a group about your size, and have been very happy. The only rub is that they may well be booked up for Labor Day. Still, no harm in trying... |

They have rooms as well as cottages to accommodate larger families, a pool, plenty of parking and they're right there in the Weirs.
We had 15 couples stay there for our wedding and it was perfect. Our friends have a large family and they come annually and rent the larger house and really like the location. AND they're pet friendly!!! http://www.weirsbeachmotel.com/ |

You might want to consider proctor lakehouse cottages on paugus bay. It is right on the water and they might be able to set you up with cottages right next to each other. It is right on the water with a 350 foot private beach. My family have taken summer vacation there 7 out of the last 10 or 11 years and love it.

Last Summer some teams stayed at the Margate which has the indoor pool and the lake and is convenient to the local area. If they do not want lake view they may get a reasonable rate there

The Lazy-E cottages might work and would be able to handle a group that size,
I do Second Proctors, but I know they always have returners so might be tough that weekend channel cottages
