Surgeon
Anyone have any recommendations for a veterinary surgeon?
My Springer tore her CCL (think ACL in humans) getting up into my pickup truck. 1st hand knowledge is appreciated as I can certainly google anyone out there. Thanks! |

CAVES
Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty https://vcahospitals.com/capital-area-emergency 34 months ago they saved my Springer's life with a 2-1/2 hour surgery. Now 12, she is still going strong. I 100% recommend them! |

Another strong vote for CAVES. They took great care of our labradors, past and present.
The only other suggestion would be Tufts Veterinary Hospital. https://vetmed.tufts.edu/cvmc/emerge...edical-center/ We never used Tufts but several friends have with excellent results. |

Dr David Diamond
...at CAVES Concord. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet and a great surgeon. Has been in one of my Golden's abdomen twice in the last year.

Thanks all! Working on a consult from a surgeon recommended by a friend!
With all the crap we see (and participate in) on this forum, there is still a reason for its purpose...working together to find solutions to problems and sharing experiences and anecdotes to help members. |
