bob houses

Just wondering...with the water temperature already climbing to levels that are a bit high for this time of the year, and looking at the web cams at the ice conditions, how do folks retrieve their bob houses when they've left them out there just a little too long? I was up last month and found if fascinating to watch people bringing them out. However I hate to think of someone getting into a risky situation in retrieving them at the end of the season.
