Default Am I losing my mind? All Star game...

I tuned into WFXT (channel 15) for the MLB All Star game last night and it was being broadcast in Spanish. I thought it was strange so I played with my TV settings to see if they were incorrect. Nope...TV set to English. I then waited for the commercials, which were in English. Are there other local Metrocast viewers out there who can help me convince myself I am not justifiably insane (or remote control illiterate)?

Sorry hilltopper I'm not qualified to diagnose insanity - unless the "It takes one to know one" philosophy applies .

Your TV was set to English so that you get TV Menus in English. The network audio comes along with the source of the program you are viewing. Metrocast usually just passes along or relays what it receives (except for local commercial inserts and other local programs).

You probably were listening to the secondary audio channel, SAP and I'd check my English language TV and/or VCR menu to put my AUDIO on MAIN rather than SAP. Just my guess.

buena suerte mi amigo y ningún no hablo español.

Thanks. Sounds like I'm not insane, just remote control illiterate. I've never had that issue with other WFXT programming and that was very confusing to me. Unfortunately I took French in school (grew up in nothern VT) so I couldn't enjoy the broadcast like I would have liked. Same old story anyway...the AL wins and the Red Sox now have home field advantage in the World Series.

Default Remember 78!

Don't you remember 1978 and Bucky #**% Dent? 10 Games is not a lock on the Pennant.

In Joisey the game was in English, our second language, on FOX.
