This morning we have been treated to an unusual bird sighting out in front of our house. After checking with "Sibley's" and "Peterson's", we discovered this small water bird was a Red-necked Phalarope. It is probably migrating north to the upper regions of Canada but stopped off at Winni for a snack. What a great Mother's Day gift, a new bird to add to my lifetime list!
