Does anyone know of a place that will board small dogs in Moultonboro or Center Harbor

I thought maybe RG could help you, seems like she has some experience with dog boarding.

Wait'll RG sees this! She'll crack up. Do ya think this is really what Phoenix had in mind when she asked about doggie boarding?

Helen White lives in Moultonborough and she has a pet "sitting" service that we've used for years. She comes to your house every day to look after your little critters. She is reasonable, reliable and always willing to do little extra things like watering plants.
To me.it's a no brainer.....your pets are not stressed, since they stay at home and you get a person who checks your house daily for pretty much the same price as boarding.....give her a try..you won't be disappointed.

Talking lfm- Love Your Sense of Humor!

You’re right McD, lfm’s post totally cracked me up! My first thought was that I didn’t recall posting about kenneling. That was too funny, thanks for the laugh lfm.

SAMIAM give a good reference, so consider it.

One reason I use a kennel when needed is that our former dog was a runner and I couldn’t stand the thought of Sam taking off and getting hit. (That sadly happened on my watch, a better name would have been Houdini.)

Here are a few kennels in the Lakes Region - perhaps there is one you will be driving by on your way to and from. Good luck!

When I saw the caption was "Dog Boarding," I envisioned something like...

Default Dog Boarding

I leave my dog at Helen White's on Sheridan Road, Moultonboro. He has a good time there and she is great with him. Walks daily, doggie door to go out to an enclosed area, air-conditioned in summer, heated in winter...what else can I say? Helen and Bob are great with the dogs. Many of my friends go there also. Give it a try. 476-2728. Advise you to book early, especially on vacation weeks. I think she also gives baths, etc. if you're interested while they are in house.
