Contemplating buying an ultrasonic rodent repellent.
How effective are these devices, or are they better alternatives ? Thanks for your feedback ! |

Go back and read my posts about this...no mice, squirrels, chipmunks all year here, but loaded with them on the end of the island...been saying that for years!

They don't work. A guy on youtube test mice traps every Monday and tried the plug ins. Mice just climbed all over it.

Old fashion traps with peanut butter.
You need to plug up the holes they are coming in. When I first got my house in Moultonboro I caught a lot of them. I went around every inch of the foundation, sealed every nook and crannie. But the buggers were still getting in. Then one fall I was winterizing the slop sink in my garage and I started looking for where the pipes came in. They were in an odd spot that I missed on my foundation sealing missions. I traced the pipes and sure enough, a 2 inch waste pipe run through a 4 inch hole in the wall, and two half inch water pipes each with it's own 2 inch hole through the wall. It was a mouse through way. Sealed those up and I've been mouse free since. |
