If you don't get a taker:
The Alton transfer station takes sound pallets for recycling. Some company picks them up. You could ask your transfer station |

The Moultonborough transfer station took the pallets for recycling with no charge (unlike the demolition material from a minor kitchen remodel for which there was a small charge).
