And, here's another use for the foam swimmers' noodle …… a fishing rod foam floatie or pfd. Dropping your fishing rod into the lake can mean bye bye fishing rod, and is probably a lot more likely to happen when fishing from a kayak, or stand up paddle board.
Take a 10" section of foam noodle, slice it half way through to the center hole horizontally, and fit it around the fishing rod handle, reel, rod area, or something(?) and bingo …… you got yo-self a sink proof, fishing rod!For a detailed instruction with photographs and sequential instructions …… go google 'foam noodle fishing rod floatie!'
