Surprised this hasn't been brought up on here?
I would imagine a lot of this show would end up on the lake. |

Since the MP is a division of the state police and not the F&G I would be surprised if they actually did much filming on the lake unless the state police get in on the action. As it has already been noted the F&G has a really nice boat parked in Tuftonboro that doesn't seem to move all season long.

NWL is all done at the end of the current season I believe. The producers of the show (Engel Entertainment) were unable to come to an agreement with the Maine Warden's Service to continue the show. Even though the show is immensely popular, the head of the Warden's Service had felt that the goal of showing just what the Wardens do and how well they do it, had be achieved.

NWL seems to have very lenient wardons.
Maybe the "accused" are incentivized to consent to the airing of their video. But then again, how does "Cops" work? |

Reading the NH newspapers, like the Union Leader, Laconia Citizen, and the Laconia Daily Sun over the last 2-3 years, there's been a number of articles that say how the NH Fish & Game is under funded by the state legislature. The price for a resident fishing license just went up for 2016, going from 35 to 45-dollars, which is the first increase in maybe 15-years.
Having the NH F&G officers on a tv show might maybe show on tv if their pickup trucks, boats, atvs, communication equipment, and uniforms are looking a little shabby around the edges compared to the Maine Warden Service. Will we be seeing the NH F&G out in the middle of Lake Winnipesaukee in an eleven foot jon boat with two oars trying to row down a 21' bass boat powered with a 200-hp outboard ...... ho-ho-ho? Question of the day: If you get a violation for fishing out of season or something, which costs maybe 83-dollars fine ....... wonder if it's ok to take a selfie photo with yourself and the officer, out on the very scenic lake, as a way to cherish the moment?
