Default Insurance Rates and Speeding Tickets

So, if one's better half were to get a ticket adding 3 points to her already existing 3 points what would she be looking at for a rate increase? Also, I understand demerit points are on a three year stretch. Will the ticket reset the year timer? We haven't combined our insurance rates just yet since we're recently married. I'm sure that will take a hit on my truck (brandie new F250 with full coverage). She drives a '13 Focus with full coverage. Also, my house and my truck are tied together; not sure if her switching to me will affect the house now.

I'm almost thinking she stays with her company (Geico) until these demerit points are gone.

I've never gotten a ticket before (yet I get made fun of by everyone for driving 5mph under the speed limit) so I'm not familiar with any of the crap at all.

Not going to lie, but I'm pretty freakin' IRKED right now.
