Appears that the Winni Railroad is not operating on Saturday & Sunday, 6/14 & 6/15, the beginning of Bike Week, from Lakeport to and from Weirs Beach. I find that odd, does anyone know why this might be ?
This is based on their schedule at www.BikeTrains.com We were hoping to catch the train to go hear the Blues Brothers Next Generation up at the Marketplace Saturday night. Any info would be appreciated. Thank You, Bill |

There is traditionally not enough business from Lakeport the first weekend of Bike Week. They are running the second weekend. You can usually find car parking fairly easy.

Sorry but most of the business has been shifting to Meredith while in the past Lakeport was the busiest. It may be the easy exit 23 off RT 93 to Rt 104.
We go where the traffic is and when Lakeport perks up we would consider coming back more often. We would love to add more trips. There is free parking at both locatons. Webmaster www.biketrains.com |
