Default I thought I'd seen everything...until...

Hi All,
In all my years at the lake, I thought I'd seen everything, until last Saturday. My wife and I went to Squam Lake (after a failed attempt to drive to the "Kank"..horrible traffic..) so we stopped at "Walter's Basin Restaurant." Which by the way is an EXCELLENT restaurant. Anyway, we were sitting at the table watching the boats go by and we saw "it!" Two young men, were sitting on a dock, in lawn chairs, drinking a beer, with a cooler beside them. Now that alone is not really something to talk about...however, this "dock" had an outboard motor on it, and they were "cruising" past the restaurant, and under the bridge going into the big lake. We saw them still "cruising" Big Squam Lake, on our way back. I was I had a camera! It had the pileones, on the side for tying up boats and all. It had to be about 12 X 20 in size, and it was just chugging along at a very nice relaxing pace. Imagine going out where there was "No Rafting" allowed, dropping and anchor, and your friends "Tying up to the dock?" Boy would that drive the Marine patrol nuts! Imagine this...."Are you guys "Rafting,?" NO, we are tied up to a dock!?" I guess you just had to see it!

I drove by Walters on Sunday and it was very busy. That reminds me of when our whole dock and 3 boats floated away after a fast rising lake level. Found the conglomerate and simply jumped in the boat and started her up and drove the whole thing home.
