Fireworks?
Does anyone know if they are going to have fireworks at the Weirs on Friday nights any more. I saw a solicitation for donations in last weeks Weirs Times for Friday Fireworks and didn't see a schedule listed anywhere. They were a great way to kick off the weekend, we would try to make it to at least a couple of shows a month.

I understand that it is a once a month schedule now. There are fireworks scheduled for this Friday night.
Here is the current schedule: http://www.weirsbeach.com/fireworks.html |

There will be fireworks while I am there in August! I am so happy they are the week we go. We didn't see them last year because they were cancelled. It was the week right after the heavy rains that washed out the boardwalk. The year before we were at Weirs Beach Saturday - Friday, and we left during the day on that Friday.

Fireworks
Thanks so much for the info! We like to bring our parents up to see them during the season. They love all the hustle and bustle of the Weirs (Trains coming and going--Cruise ship boarding and departing) it's a real treat!

You Could Donate
If you really enjoy the fireworks you should consider donating to the Weirs Action Committee. That is the organization that pays for the fireworks. It is a group of businesses and residents in the Weirs Beach area that promote tourism and business in the Weirs Beach area. They do things to make the area nicer so that people who visit can enjoy it.
