Default Happy Birthday!

Happy 11th Birthday to my buddy and our canine Patriarch, Taps, (laying down next to Simba)! He unfortunately lost his life partner and our Matriarch, Jammie, back in February at 12+, (she is on her float from last September). That one still stings 5 mos later, but for now, get the birthday cake ready!

Goldies are the second best (Maple is next to me as I type this). Happy birthday!

Those floats are great. Our old girl would only go in the water as far as her feet could touch bottom, but when we discovered the float, she could be out with the boys who love to swim.

Default Dog float

Can the dogs get on and off by themselves? In deep water?
Where to buy?

This is the one that we have, (we bought it on-line):

Our girl was not a big Golden...she was about 57 pounds or so, and she fit on it just fine.

She was 11 when we got it for her last year, so we would help her on and off of it, as we don't have a beach, but if you have a beach-type area, I'm sure the dog could get on and off on its own.

If you have stairs going into the water, we just put ours at the bottom of the stairs and she climbs right on….
