Bear
I'm thinking a bear. There have been reports of bears up and about in recent weeks due to the lack of continued cold weather that would drive them to den up for the winter.

I've watched a large bear walk through some deep, fresh snow at about 5:30-am and then after it left, I took a good look at its very fresh tracks ..... and yes, those definitely look like a bear track ...... bears can have very big paws ..... plus they can climb/run fast, straight up a big pine tree or tip-toe around the top of a 3 1/2" wood fence enclosure that surrounds a dumpster.
They is a large animal that can move about without making any sound .... is very stealthy.
