Default Mt. Washington Cruise advice

I, sorry to say, have never cruised the Mt. Washington. But my 88 yo father is going to visit and I thought this would be a nice activity for all of us. He is mobile but would like to spare him as much walking as possible. I would appreciate any advice such as best viewing areas on the Mount, etc. as well as any other tips to make this as enjoyable as possible for him. Oh, and would you please advise when the sun will again shine? Thank you.
