Default Merry Christmas!

OK gang...It's time to go "A Wassailing"!

I didn't plan this solo so add your own favorites!

WINNI. THE SNOWMAN

Winni the Snowman
Lived up on a frozen lake.
With a Skipper's hat
and a red striped shirt,
He's a sailor-no mistake!

Winni the Snowman
doesn't use a boat to play.
He travels round the frozen Lake
on a wooden Chris-Craft sleigh!

He wanders round the crystal pond
to visit Summer Friends.
From Alton Bay to Meredith
and around the Lake again!

For Winni the Snowman
knew that we'd have ice out one day.
When he'll hit the drink and say "so long"
as he smiles and melts away!

Spla****y, splash, splash
Spla****y, splash. splash
He winks as he melts away.

Spla****y, splash, splash
Spla****y, splash, splash
"I'll be back on Ice In Day!!!

God bless us, every one!

Smile Xmas In Florida

I will be returning to NH next weekend so please have all the snow finished by then. I do want a white Christmas but would like to get there.
Here in Florida we celebrate the season early with all the amazing light ups. We rafted up boats on the side of the river, had bug spray, noise maker, cocktails, and goodies to eat while watching the lighted boats go by.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Default XMAS WITH Ms Winnie Relative

For all of you that remember the adventures of Ms Winnie in olden times, you can imagine my surprise when a close relative of hers was in my Xmas boat parade. Her name is Bonnie since she lives in FloridaBonita Springs. She is not quite a lady since she sprays water at all she passes. She also has a fierce mouth lighted red which she moves form side to side to confuse people with her nav. lights .She spans 1 barge, 1 push boat and a dingy.and has an expert crew. All in all she is quite a site to see at night. In the day time she works with her loader dredging the channel to keep the sand from the beach refurbishing out of the channel.

I am not sure if she escaped Winnie via the McDude River to avoid the winter snow.
She is happy playing with the manatees.
>>
She sprays MERRY CHRISTMAS

Talking Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Best wishes to all of you for a very Merry Christmas and a healthy Happy New Year!

Thanks Misty for the fun song!!!

A couple weeks back I saw a Christmas in July boat parade. I think on the Travel Channel. The boats and docks are decorated, many very elaborately with prizes awarded. It looked like such fun! Can you imagine a bunch of boats going through The Weirs Channel past judges to win a prize? It could be quite the tourist draw too.
Now that FLBoater posted the picture of Bonnie, it makes me think we could have Winnie as the Grand Marshal of the parade!
Should we be snapping up Christmas decorations on clearance after the holidays?

Default Christmas and New Year wishes

From the deep south part of New England I send wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year! and as we start the new year, my wish for our lake is that we have a minimum of 12 months with no accidents either on water or frozen water, that we watch out for one another and all be safe.
I am hoping that Mrs Claus brings me a new Ski Nautique for Christmas, but if she does it will probably be just a tree orniment. Merry Christmas to all.

Default Happy Holidays

Cheerful Greetings from northern Conn., and hoping to make my next visit to The Lake right after New Years.... as soon as I see a few good "traveling days" in a row. Seems like every week lately has snow, sleet and freezing rain.
Been getting my "fix" by looking at the Weirs Cam every day, noticing the transition into real winter weather, like yesterday when I checked it and there was just a big blob of ice on the lens. Love it.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a very peaceful, joyous and healthy New Year to all !!

Default Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!!! I think I saw Rudolph on the way in to work but but it was just a red light on a State Troopers car.

I have a picture of the Christmas tree in Wolfeboro from 2004 as the back ground on the computer here at work. It makes it a bit more like Christmas...

When gtx took this shot I mentioned that I was looking at Echo Point and I'm sure nj2nh was wishing she were there also. We're all stuck in northern NJ, but hopefully a winter trip to the lake will be coming up soon.

It is great she is pointing at the cottage I've been too since I was 3 days old or thereabouts. Nice Blanket, and would be great to have over ones lap while out in a bob house. Merry Christmas, and a Healthy New Year everyone.
