Might Want to Check with Your PCP
Emailed my PCP at Belknap Family Health Care to see if the situation at LRGH was having an effect on patient care and got the news
that they will be closing and directing calls to the Laconia Clinic. This is part of the text from his message. In regards to your health care, at this time I would approach things as normal. We will be keeping a clinic open in Laconia (The Laconia Clinic downtown). My colleagues and myself will be helping to staff this clinic and trying our best to keep the outpatientcare for our patients available. When you call our office the call will now be re-directed to the clinic in Laconia. As you can imagine, there will likely be an enormous call volume but we will be doing our best to manage everything we can over the phone/videocalls, but if needed we will have the ability to bring people in to the office in Laconia. |

PCP outside the LRGH network
Glad I have a PCP in Meredith outside the LRGH network. Very easy to reach by phone, LRGH phone system a nightmare!
Normally I visit his office, but during the pandemic he is available via Skype! Recent call he diagnose my headache as an ear infection. He prescribe an antibiotic an all is good!

Just had my first tele-medicine appointment with my PCP. Seemed pretty effective and saved me a trip to her office. Maybe a new norm?
