A generator in use under a deck started the fire, investigators said. WMUR reported today. |

Yup, keep the generators out in the open, away from stuff that can burn.

Also, people tend to refill a generator that is hot - be extremely careful re-filling from a gas can. A siphon pump is a bit safer than just tipping a full gas can up to hit a small tank opening.
