Boat Rental
We'll be coming up for our annual vacation in the next few weeks and would like to rent a boat for 2-3 days and am looking for some dealers to contact.
We have boating certificates and are looking for a small runabout. Thanks! |

It depends on where you plan on being while at the lake. I rented from Meredith Marina several times and find their selection to be good and their people to be friendly and helpful. There are others on the lake, so check them out if you are not going to be in the Meredith area.

Okay, spoke with my wife and we'd probably rent for just one day since we'll be doing other things a lot of the time. We'll be staying in Meredith, but are okay driving a bit if needed.

Anchor Marine Boat Rentals at Weirs Beach is a big supporter of this site and has graciously hosted our webcam since 1999. Please consider them when choosing a boat rental company.

No luck
I have a unique situation. I would like to rent a pontoon or similar craft for a sunset cruise during our 45th class reunion. Trouble is you can only rent up to 5 o'clock. Do you know of anyone that will rent for a sunset cruise?
Thanks.

Broadhopper --
I also know that people have rented from Fayes and kept the boat at their dock for multiple days (i.e. overnight) during vacation pretty sure they have pontoons -- but not 100% positive .

Boat rentals
All the rental places will allow you to pick up a boat the night before providing you pay a full day rental. This price is a bit much for the reunion crowd. I will be glad to pay for a half day.

There are a bunch of great options around the lake. I'm a big fan of Goodhue Hawkins. They rent brand new top of the line Cobalt boats.

rental boats
you could not rent a boat from anyone on the lake better than bob andrews. he is meticulus in assuring that the boat is as clean and seaworthy as a new boat, and will not go home for a " good nights sleep" until he is assured that "ALL" of his customers have arrived back to port safely.
michael PS: bob owns anchor marine rentals. Last edited by michael; 06-27-2014 at 07:52 PM. |
