Bronco Owners Foliage Ride
Any other Bronco owners in this group? Next Saturday, the Northeast Bronco Nation is holding its third annual fall foliage ride. Meetup is at the Mead Conservation Center and the run will include Sandwich Notch Road, Tripoli Road, the Kanc, Bear Notch Road, Bartlett Experimental Forest, and end up at Hobbs in Ossipee.
Comment or message me, if interested, and I'll get the info to you. Any year/version of the Bronco is welcome! Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk |

Tripoli Road?
How was that potholed asphalt uphill first four miles on the Tripoli Rd in Waterville Valley and Livermore?
Before Hurricane Irene struck in late August, 2011, that used to be a race track road for FedEx, UPS and everyone else. The Forest Service purposely chose not to fix all the flood damaged asphalt too much as a way to slow down and eliminate what used to be too much Tripoli Road traffic.

The ride yesterday was GREAT! Some of the Sandwich Notch and Tripoli Road sections were beat up, but nothing too bad.
We had 39 Broncos join up, and the weather was perfect. The only glitch was that we didn't do a great job keeping compact at the meetup spot—Mead Base Exploration Center—and a few hikers were inconvenienced when trying to find parking. We made it work for a couple cars, but by the time we realized the numbers and timing, at least one had left to hike somewhere else. I'm sure we'll choose somewhere else for a meetup spot next year—I'm thinking the Sandwich Fairgrounds should have plenty of space, but suggestions welcome! Hope y'all are getting to enjoy the beautiful weather. Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk |

Longroof Rally
The annual Longroof Rally occurs every year on Columbus Day Weekend. It is open to all wagons and not SUVs. Examples are allroad, Avanti, Estate, Sportbacks etc. Yes, an Outback is classified as a wagon.
The venue is Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. The event starts with a quick adrenaline rush around the track. This year, backroad travel to Killington, including the infamous Rte 112. Most continue traveling along Lake Champlain to Jay Peak at the Canadian border the next day. I like to leave Jay Peak and head over to Saddleback in Maine. You can't find a better foliage tour!
