Sailboats as large as 17'-long by six or seven feet wide can sometimes be bought, used, for around one thousand dollars including a trailer and good quality sails. Sailing a sailboat with no secondary motor is very different than driving a motor boat capable to go 45-mph.

This CL-14' sailboat is a sturdy, well designed dinghy, made in Ontario, Canada and very capable for sailing on Lake Winnipesaukee with or without a secondary 2-hp pony motor and there's always a happy and helpful motor-boater around, out there, who will give you a tow back home when there is no wind.

All the Lake Winnipesaukee motor-boaters basically have nothing better to do and just drive around the big lake in big fast boats in big circles, using up that VERY expensive gasoline. Isn't this correct, all you motor-boaters! .....
