The power was down her in the northern end of Meredith from roughly 4AM to 4PM. I saw the NH Coop truck heading up the hill at 3:50PM and gave the boys the big thumbs uo. Ten minutes later we were back on the grid.

NH Coop is good...maybe too good. With the Winter we had last year we only lost power maybe five times, never for more than a half hour. I was a bit complacent and was caught off guard. Fortunately we have a wood stove, a propane cook stove, and plenty of backup water (we have a well) so all was well for the 12 hours (except for our poor baby girl who was running a 101+ fever due to an ear infection through all of this). Lessons were certainly learned (for example, have cell phones charged before the storm). Again, thanks NH Coop and I hope our Southern NH friends are hanging in there.
