Don't have a map in front of me and this is from memory...but if traveling eastbound on I-84 into Hartford, you might go north on I-91 through Mass. into NH up to exit 8, I think. Run east on Rt-11 through Claremont all the way to Tilton and the Lakes region.
Or, stay on I-91 to Lebanon, NH; no exit number but big "getoff sign" and follow Rt-4 to 104 into New Hampton (which brings you to exit 23, I-93, and follow 104 into Meredith or...
