Number one on my list is Tall Timber Lodge. Right on Back Lake, also on trails, clean, great restaurant on site. All price ranges. Go to

My second choice is Snowfield Cabins 5 minutes from Tall Timber. Very reasonable in cost, call owners Dennis and Pat Plante (603-538-7008). Very clean and good value for the money all cabins have full kitchen facilities. do a search on the web for pictures also nice people to deal with. Not sure if they are on the trails but I think so. Just call and ask.
