It cost 1 penny to play. Hard to imagine all the hours that went into producing that game just to get people to play for a penny. The metal work in the castings was elaborate.
I think of that when I watch the pickers show. Stuff was cheap, but of course wages were low too.

Did you ever see the show where Bob Lawton got his old game restored?
