Several years ago, I saw a golf cartoon that came rushing back to me when I thought about you out fishing in a downpour. The cartoon showed two golfers in raingear walking down a fairway carrying their bags, and in the background are two fishermen fishing in a water hazard. The drawing shows that it is pouring out, and one golfer says to the other: "Look at those idiots fishing over there...don't they have enough sense to come out of the rain?"

Been there involving both sports. I can be an idiot either way.

Oh, and getting back on topic...no rain gauge, but my nicely running brook that was slightly louder than a "babble" is now a raging river . Guessing over an inch yesterday and overnight to make it run that hard that fast.
