I agree that Monty Python is great....and that sketch is very funny. But, in this thread the discussion was about a parrot that was ripped to shreds by this woman's dogs right after she purchased the bird at a local pet store. In that context, turning the thread into a Monty Python reminiscence was, I felt, in poor taste.
