Interesting thought. I'm going to guess that the specialty ceramic application will remain with detail/autobody places because of the cost and the skill and care needed to apply it. I doubt many dealers will use high end products and commit to personnel that can do it correctly. The dealer scam like described above will continue, fork over $700 and we'll put some glorified wax on, but for a true quality job there's a small group of people willing to pay for the real thing.
