There's a similar structure called the Boldt Yacht House in Alexandria Bay, NY/1000 Islands (an easy and pretty 7ish hour drive from Winni) that's still in used as a boat house and contains an impressive boat collection that's open to the public. It's a great way to see how the Swallow Boat house used to be used. 1000 Islands is a place any Winnipesaukee fan would love too.
