Pretty much junk - I stopped at the Lake Francis dam parking lot looking to unload there, the parking lot was a sheet of ice and the trail in and out of there was down to 75% dirt 25% snow so not even good enough to call snirt. Young's parking lot was a skating rink too.

What a difference it made to go an extra few miles up the road though. rode as far south as the PT 112/Corr 18 intersection that was all good. West side of Rt 3 was OK but the coverage got bad just before you got to back lake on PT 140. Was clear the warm up hit it hard up there too, but the nice thing is PRR got out there and groomed everything flat which froze up rock hard, and a dusting of snow on Friday put just enough down to keep the machine cool without the need for ice scratchers or picks. Riding was flat and fast. Great for cruising at 40- 50 MPH flat as a pancake, plus it wasn't crowded. Just needed to know where to go to stay in the good stuff. Cool thing is gave me an excuse to ride all the way to the US Border crossing, never been there before.

More snow is headed our way so that will help immensely up there but sadly for much of the state it's starting from nothing.

Found some friendly birds to share a little lunch with on the trail
