Listening to my big, bad, loud, roaring, hissing tinnitus it is absolutely necessary for me to pursue a tinnitus cure for the rest of my life, no matter how long it takes, and no matter how expensive it costs. This problem is that bad, today, right now at this time.

Never give up!

I must find a way to beat this tinnitus!
So interesting to hear such a different experience with tinnitus.

For me its clearly an annoyance that I would rather not have, but not more than that. And on occasion I must admit to using it as an excuse for not hearing others :-)

But mine is NEVER bad enough to cause me stress, well not so far. So I am lucky enough that I can mostly ignore it.

I cannot imagine it being so troublesome that I became stressed out over it. I can see how that could unravel you as it never stops, NEVER,,,

My sympathies. Good luck in your quest to find a cure.
