Le Tigre
Georges Benjamin Clemenceau, nick- named "Le Tigre" (The Tiger) (1841 –1929), was said to have visited the lake region in June of 1869. Clemenceau served as the Prime Minister of France from 1906 to 1909, and again from 1917 to 1920. Leading France for most of the final years of World War I, he was one of the principal architects of the Treaty of Versailles.
