Yup, we picked some up last weekend too. They were very good for sure, but the $13.99/lb sure did leave a bitter aftertaste.
You can buy a quality strip steak, ribeye or even porterhouse for less than that.
We prefer to buy flap meat fresh and cut it to size ourselves. You can get it in quantity at BJ's in Tilton. My wife makes a great marinade, but when we don't have a lot of time, we use Lawry's teriyaki marinade with pineapple juice. It's as good as most mainades at the butcher shops. And of course, you realize that they get the $13.99/lb for the marinade too!!
