Moving rocks, etc could subject your hire to injury or a bee sting attack...backs, hands, hernias, etc. etc. and society today loves to sue. I would check to be sure you had all the insurance needed "just in case". If it is an older person or company, make sure you get a copy of their insurance coverages for liability and workers compensation. You don't want to open yourself to financial liabilities on what seems on the surface like a simple project for someone. It is a strange world we live in. You might find it better to hire a business with insurance coverages in writing......
