I’ve had them for years and actually installed them in the early 90s when they first came out. It’s a totally different ballgame today, however. Today’s sensitive electronics require someone who really knows what they are doing. Do your research of some reputable shops and take it from there. You may find that the pricing is not that far off from the VW dealer.....
