I've always been a "grill with a side burner" fan, and then I decided to add a Blackstone 28" griddle to the mix this year. Grill is great for the usual, burgers, dogs, meats... Griddle is great for veggies and all-things breakfast. You can cook a pound of bacon in about 5 min. on it. (I used to do bacon in a skillet on the side burner, took forever). I did try turkey burgers on the griddle as well, came out great, and no sticking. The griddle is a bit more work from a cleaning POV, but having the foil pan in the back for the grease is sweet. Drain, let it firm up and toss out! I couldn't go to just the griddle, but it's a perfect side-kick to the main (gas) grill.
