I like the style of your boat, and Winnipesaukee-ers are coming into the cottage-rental season. (Rich and poor alike).

It's the concrete block and the rusty trailer that help make it look bad.

1) Spray-paint the trailer tongue "aluminum". ($4)
2) Cover the block with colored felt. ($2)
3) Take cleanser (or fiberglass cleanser) to a spot on the hull and deck. (To demonstrate that the finish can be restored). ($0)
4) Important: Clean the windshield! ($0)
5) Remove the tarp.
6) Put a "For Sale" sign on it. ($1)
(The trailer's worth $100+)

Last, this isn't an ugly boat.

At auction, my teenage zeal got me a bargain "Winner" runabout -- the first popular runabout in fiberglass. That was ugly (but popular).
