You are right that Plymouth is quieter in the summer which is a nice break from the crowds of the lakes region (we continue to work in Meredith). Plymouth is also great because the college means there is lots of young energy in town and lots and lots of things to do in the winter. It really feels like the best of both worlds. And we live close enough to 93 that its now faster for us to get to Boston than it was when we lived in Meredith.

I do believe the taxes are really high in Plymouth though. Something to think about when buying is the taxes.
