Yes, but Goodwill pays their CEO almost $900k a year, boys and girls club CEO makes over $1m a year. I think the point above was that many local charities send 95% or more of donations to the less fortunate, where some national charities have so much beaurocracy they are closer to 50%.

Either way, i agree with donating. In fact, my hometowns highschool football team collects unwanted items every year from the neihboorhood and then runs a huge garage sale on the town commons. They use the proceeds to cover some of the football related costs the team has. Sounds like osme of the Lakes Regions schools should do the same.
