My favorite car that I owned was my 2000 Passat. Would have kept it forever, but at 15 years and 238,000 miles, the clutch finally needed to be replaced, and there was rust in the frame. Would have bought an Atlas, but it was the first model year and the mileage was horrible. Went with a Highlander Hybrid instead. Love getting 28-32 mpg for a 3-row SUV.
