With one single 2"x4"x8' lumber stud now costing $5.48, building a new house must be very expensive. One 2"x10"X12' fir lumber costs $25.52 at Lowe's plus the carpenters to build it and the local thrift store doesn't sell any super low-priced construction lumber.
Building a new house by using old foam swim noodles and 12-inch wood paint stir sticks will probably not be approved by your local building inspector! |
