Notes: For the second month in a row, overnight temps were above normal while daytime temps were below normal. This resulted in the month's overall average temperature being only slightly below normal. The most likely cause, for the second month in a row, is the abundance of moisture in the air all month. Cloud cover and fog both help to keep temperatures warm overnight.

The month's precipitation total was the greatest since 7.65 inches fell in October 2006. This brings the year-to-date total to 30.22 inches. Normal total for the entire year is 36.37 inches, which will likely be surpassed before year's end.
