We opted for a larger firm with a large estate planning group. Our son is an attorney (MA) and advised us that the whole area of trusts and estates is one that is constantly changing and you need to have people totally focused on that. We used McLane Middleton with offices in Concord, Manchester, etc. etc. Have some 25 /- attorneys is the trust/estate department. But we heeded his advice...go big, not small. We had done estate planning a number of times in MA, updating as we went along. But now we are NH residents and needed to focus of the laws here, not MA.

We also interviewed three firms before we made a selection. They usually offer a free discussion consultation.

Meredith Man's advice is spot on !!!!!
