Google Fi uses T-Mobile and US Cellular towers, so it should get the same coverage as those but will still have the MVNO issues mentioned above.

Note that that applies to using cellular data, not Wi-Fi (assuming your Internet speeds are better than the cellular network).

So, at your home/in your yard, the cellular network doesn't matter much if you have high-speed Internet but while on the boat, driving, in the woods, etc. it applies.

I spent a summer being unable to stream Spotify because Verizon's network was overloaded and I was being deprioritized.
