I would love to see something like Jet Rock Bar & Grill. I've been to the one in Philly or DC airport and it was a whole new experience and they had amazing comfort foods including fried mac & cheese.
They offer a sit-down bar/restaurant and they also have self-service kiosks to place to-go orders. As a picky eater, I loved the idea of placing the order myself so that the kitchen received my exact order. I would love to open a restaurant some day where customers can place their own orders for sit-down and take out.
From a customer perspective just imagine being able to order the moment you are ready and then not having to worry about mix-ups like receiving salmon with blue cheese instead of a salad with blue cheese! Customers would also be able to see cost throughout ordering process so there is no sticker shock at the end.
From the business perspective it allows wait staff and cooks to confirm exactly what was ordered. No more he said she said arguments!
